What you’re allowed to post on social media…

Social media is a very large part of being a camgirl and often times it’s hard to determine what’s allowed and not allowed on each social network these days. Don’t worry, I’m here to help you out. I’ve been testing the waters with the big three social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for years now and I think I’ve finally come up with a list of what’s acceptable on each.

Twitter is the easiest so I’ll start there. They allow adult posts so pretty much anything goes there. They just prefer you don’t portray nudity in the avatar or background images. I love me some Twitter. They make things so easy 😀

Instagram is the next most lenient. They don’t allow adult posts but you can really push the limits with Instagram. I’m not quite sure why, but they recently changed their hashtag searches to allow some adult hashtags, like #boobs, #camgirl, #sexy, etc. So on Instagram, you can post almost anything as long as you’re not nude (showing nipple or privates). Things that are iffy (they will sometimes remove but you can probably get away with it) are hand bras / pasties, thong pics (especially if it’s a rear upward shot from below), and anything with camel toe involved. I’d try to stay on the safe side with those. If it’s not too raunchy and somewhat classy they usually allow it.

Facebook is the Nazi of adult content on social media. They don’t like any of it. You have to be wearing a top (you can’t cover your boobs with hands or pasties). Thongs are a no no for the most part. They don’t even want you rubbing your boobs over the top of your clothing…no teasing basically. Pretty much anything you wouldn’t feel comfortable showing your granny is a no go on Facebook. Stay SFW on Facebook and you’ll survive. As an alternative, you can also try the site 2Hot4FB.com. They allow you to cover NSFW photos making them postable on Facebook. They also will pay you to use their site which is pretty rad.

On a somewhat related note, if you’re looking to grow your social media accounts, try a site called ShoutoutPost. It’s basically free shoutout trades with users of a similar following/niche.

That should cover about everything. If you have any questions, please post in the comments below. I’ll be happy to answer them for you. Hopefully this helps you post even more of your sexy self on the interwebs 🙂

Hi! I just read the article and it’s okay to be informed about that.
But what’s happening with Tumblr? I mean they allowed you at first to post nude videos of you (masturbation or having sex etc.) and for about one or two month they started to delete it and I don’t understand why they are doing that also they have section Adult content when you make your Tumble page.
Maybe you can help me to understand why they are doing that. Thank you!

      Hi Radu,

Unfortunately tumblr disabled our blogs and I’m guessing it’s for that same reason. I gave up on tumblr as it wasn’t as easy to get traffic. Sorry I couldn’t help you better but tumblr and Pinterest are two that I haven’t really played around with enough to give advice on.

[…] If you’re not using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Periscope, etc. to your advantage, then you’re at a disadvantage. Those are the five social networks that we’ve found most useful in this industry. There are obviously guidelines you have to follow on each network. Not all of them are adult-friendly. Check out our last post to find out what you’re allowed to post on social media. […]
